I have read a number of articles that used SIMAGIS Nanotube Module to
get statistically accurate measurements a large number of carbon nanotubes.
That is the software can identify what is a Single walled nanotube from what is
not based on the objects hight profile, and then find the length distribution
of tubes in the image.
Unfortunately I contacted SIMAGIS and was slapped over the head with a
$8,500+ price tag. I am a university student and do not have that type of
funding.
I have heard of a number of papers reference Gwyddion 2.9 as a means to
measure nanotube length distributions. Does anyone know or have any ideas as to
how they used the software, if it was a module, plug-in, or would I have to
write a module myself to recreate this capability?
Is Gwyddion capable of measuring nanotube length distrobutions?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all very much,
Justin
