Probably this is somehow related to my configuration, but I just
started getting the following error when I try to start gwyddion:

The program 'gwyddion' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 103 error_code 2 request_code 146 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Gwyddion exits (I never see anything). I recently upgraded to 2.22
and I don't know if I've run it successfully since then, so I'm not
sure if that is relevant. The server is basically running debian
stable. I am running this remotely via ssh and x-forwarding on a mac
laptop. A colleague can load gwyddion correctly via ssh on another
linux machine. All my other X applications seem to work fine. If
anyone else has run into this and can point me in the right direction,
that would be great.

Thanks,

Scott
