Hi, I just tried to open files created by our white-light interferometer from Veeco and gwyddion is failing for some of them. Basically, files created in the PSI mode can be opened without a problem, but VSI files cannot. The module stops on an error "AdjustVSI_A missing or not valid" (or something like that, the error message is in French on my machine). I am using gwyddion 2.18 on linux 64bits (fedora) but the problem is the same on a windows machine (xp 32bits). As a workaround, I can convert the VSI *.opd files in *.asc using the soft from Veeco and open them with gwyddion. Saddly, this is not really convient for us (partly because the soft is on an old pc that control the interferometer and the conversion takes forever to complete). Any idea on how I could solve this problem and directly open VSI *.opd files with gwyddion? If it can help, I can send one of the files that fails (the smallest is 1.4MB once zipped).
