Hello, if Gwyddion crashes only with certain files please send me some such file(s) (compressed). If gwyddion.log is nonempty send it too. Does it crash silently, with a specific message, or some generic Windows crash message? > I'm using gwyddion to analyze AFM data from my NTMDT (.mdt files) and to > analyze SEM images (.tiff files). For the .mdt files the program (and then > Win) crashes on the "Open File" window when I highlight the file and the > program shows the preview; for the .tiff files the program(and also Win) > crashes after I have set the size of the image. This is interesting as at the time you get the dialog to enter the dimensions the TIFF file is, technically, already loaded.
