Hello,

Does anyone have experience with loading .gwy files into Matlab, or could
give some help as to the structure of the .gwy file? What we would like to
do is to process an image (Agilent, .mi format) in Gwyddion, save it as a
.gwy, and then load the image data from the .gwy file into Matlab for
further postprocessing.

A related question:
When some processing is done on an image (such as plane leveling), and then
that image is saved as a .gwy, is the data contained in the gwy the
corrected data, or the raw data plus a filter? I.e., if we load a .gwy file
that contains some corrected data, will we be directly loading an array of
corrected data, or do we need to perform some operations that are also
contained in the .gwy file?

Thanks!

James
