Oh sorry, I gave you the wrong keys.
Its
  c.set_int32_by_name("/0/base/range-type", 1)
  c.set_double_by_name("/0/base/min", 0.0)
  c.set_double_by_name("/0/base/max", 5.0)

I tested it here and it works.

And the min max values are in the SI base unit without prefix. So a
micrometer is 1e-6 meter. The value has to be 1e-6.
