to prepare the surface we used Data Process->Synthesis->Spectral...

What we used for deposition simulation ended as Data 
Process->Synthesis->Particle...
module (some of the development parameters are still commented out, but
what rests should be enough for all that was done in the paper).

Then we used most of the algorithms in Data Process->Tip-> for tip 
convolution effects,
all the grain analysis techniques (Data Process->Grains)  and 
Statistical Functions Tool to evaluate the data.
