Dear Sameer,

the detail image in simple error map module should be typically one 
"hole" in the grating.
In fact it only does correlation search, then finds local maxima in 
correlation and tries
to fit them on ideal positions of holes. In principle this could be used 
for drift
correction as well, but some questions would remain, e.g. how to 
extrapolate the
values of correction coefficients if you want use it for the same 
datafield.
