Hello, there is indeed a problem in the Italian translation which causes
Gwyddion to abort when constructing the menus. Thanks for the report.

I will also make new MS Windows executables in a few days, please use
English meanwhile.
The lesson seems to be is to never publish a new Gwyddion version in
December. In the last three years the December version was always the
one requiring patches.
