Hi,I write to you because I am using the tool to generate surfaces through the Data Process, Synthetic, Objects, and Pyramids menu of Gwyddion. Then, when using two versions of the software the 2.42 and 2.47 and using the same parameters in the generator (see attached file where both screens and results are compared, the one at the left is obtained with 2.42 version and that one at the right with 2.47) the surfaces look rather different statistically. In fact in 2.42 image there are 292 objects while in 2.47 just 73. I note that the setting in the Dimensions label are the same in both cases (512x512 pixels and a nominal size in both axis of 2048 microns). So, Ido not understand why so different results are obtained.
