The fit results can be saved to a text file using the Save button. So you certainly do not have to do the fitting in other software. But I agree the fitting dialogues should have also Copy-to-clipboard buttons, similarly to statistical quantities, distances, etc. Ctrl-C probably would not be the best idea (among other problems, it simultaneously needs to to its usual thing for all the various text boxes in the window).
