I am using GX Developer for reading from Geosoft databases. I am using other GX Developer entry points for opening the channel, placing a lock on the channel and checking that the particular line is valid and then retrieving a ptr to the data.
This all works fine for unprotected channels. However when my code comes to a protected channel only the read command fails. This simply returns a null pointer. Is there any way to access a protected channel in a geosoft database using GX Developer entry points. Thanks in advance for any help..
