Apparently, this issue has been brought up several times (good to know!), and 
interestingly, the report I read stated that all vacuum manufacturers except 
Shop Vac categorically denied that they use glass fibers for their bags.

Be careful of vacuum cleaner bags--many have glass fibers, which can do 
horrible things to your lungs. Check with manufacturers before using them as 
filters.
