Hi everyone,

I hope I explain this problem well enough since it seems most of the time I have been having confusing everyone here with some of my questions. I've been using the pattern ideas from the book Tailor's Assistant. The dress I've been working on is the late 13th century dress. Since my weight is constantly up and down, more up then down.... I decided to sew a dress that wasn't so fitted. My problem is with the front and back gores. I can get the top point of them to sew into the dress properly. I finally figured out how to do the side ones. Would it help if I split the front and the back of the dress and then add the gores? This seems more correct if I understand what I have been reading from all of you who are more experienced about the width of cloth during the 13th century period. Please help this poor confused still learning seamstress. If you have any questions or confused by my question please ask. And if you wish in private is fine.

Roscelin
