Not the whole 14 yards, of course, but I've made a nice 1st century Roman
tunica out of what seems to be exactly the same wool. I wear it over a
close-fitting linen tunic, per a 1st century lady's grave clothes documented
in Women in Roman Britain (L Allason Jones), with a couple of nice bronze
fibulae.

I've got 14 yards of plain medium-dark green (somewhere between emerald
and forest) wool. It's lovely and soft and about t-shirt weight. I thought
I might make cloaks out of it, but it seems a little light.
