I only know of two types that have been call "Arrowhead". One is embroidery
in which you embroider a triangle shape at the top of the slit uses either
split stitch, darning stitch or a stitch that I can't remember what its
called.
The other method was taking triangular piece of the same material as the
garment or item to be "arrowheaded", fold in a bit of the tips, then the
sides. Stitch down the turned under sides with a point facing up and a side
going across the top of the slit. Think of the slit as the shaft of an arrow
and the triangular piece the arrowhead and that is how it should look in
alignment. You will want to stitch the interior of the arrowhead, this I
have seen artistic license as from simple triangle within triangle to
initials to geometrics.
There is the option of satin stitching instead of hemming the triangle for
less bulk.
This is my understanding of Arrowhead and may not be what you are looking
for or the "real" arrowhead for slits.
