"As workers checked the walls with sonic equipment they heard an unusual
sound. Removing some bricks, they found a stone staircase leading
underground to a huge crypt, stacked with richly decorated coffins
containing 265 bodies. The huge vaulted crypt was used for burials
between 1674 and 1838."
Be sure to look at the accompanying video, it looks like much of the
clothing survived intact.
