Okay, at the risk of posting a "me too" message, I'd like to see something that would help filter out some of the extra chatty messages. I'm on a lot of email lists and I have limited time to read email some days, so being able to filter out the chat stuff, that I usually do no more than read, or delete unread if I can detect it, would be a great time saver for me.
