When my Lady and I were visiting Venice [the Italian one] last year, we came across several "costume shops" dedicated to supplying the needs of the Carnival, and a couple of them were showing "beaded cauls" in their windows. No addresses, though. [They looked good, but I didn't think they were "period" for my House, so I didn't bother.] But if anyone you know is visiting that Venice, you could ask them to keep and eye open on your behalf.
