The Society for Creative Anachronism has some groups in Australia. It is the Kingdom of Lochac http://www.sca.org.au/lochac/ Email the Seneschal with your situation and they may be able to find a sewer or loaner garb. It's worth a shot if other routes don't work. List of their groups within Lochac http://www.sca.org.au/lochac/groups/groups.php This last one will move things a bit quicker in finding a local group and their Seneschal.
Good luck, De -----Original Message----- I'm in Australia and we portray English nobility of the 1580s. I do sew, but I'm sewing outfits for my husband's band and don't have any time left to sew for my children. I would dearly love to have someone else help me. We have a performance at Easter and then in late June. I just can't find any more time to sew! Luckily my 15yr old daughter has nearly finished her gown. Many thanks Aylwen On 12/03/2007, at 6:37 PM, Sharon Collier wrote: > www.landsend.com > item # 19257-4412 > Linen pintuck tunic > $44.50 > Hope this helps.
