Yes, I agree. I have had so much grief with men's outfits - pattern companies always make the armsyces too loose, and so I've had to re-draft most of the sleeves for our band's outfits. Then, the men ask why I'm making the sleeves so tight - today's modern styles make it hard for them to realise they will have more movement. Because we wear these outfits for dancing we need to raise our arms above the head. At least for Elizabethan I can make the sleeves detachable!
