JoAnn Peterson, owner of Laughing Moon Mercantile Patterns, has a new store in Old Sacramento, Calif. JoAnn caters to Gold Rush/Civil War reenactors. She has lots of great shoes/boots in her store, one or two of which are 1830s-40s appropriate. I don't know where she gets her shoes, but check out her website.
