True, the documentation stuff is very good, and the pattern gives a garment that gives a good overall shape and is a good start. The garment construction steps are really modern, though.

Is the Past Patterns version accurate?  I am out of my specialty and most of
the art of the period shows a hood or mantle over the neckline.  Grrrr!
