I just thought to check the back of the annual after hitting send. The article of Embroidery in Britain "is extracted from the longer text that appeared in Donald King and Santina Levey, The Victoria & Albert Museum's Textile collection: Embroidery in Britain from 1200 to 1750, London 1993"
