Thank you for the feedback everyone! I have taken you suggestions and have incorporated the existing logo into this one button simple publishing idea. Here it is: http://konstruktors.com/notes/habari-logo-ideas I have the read the general habari design guide (at the wiki) and the color neutrality could be easily used with this "button" logo design as well. However, I have added a few examples of how habari could color code different sections of the website -- plugins, themes, planet, etc. If you look closely, the button has an inner bavel and a gradient applied so that it looks "pressed". One good thing about this button approach is that one could easily create the logo using only html and css. Background gradient could be added using a transparent png.
