I added a locales dir on -extras which contains all the current translations on launchpad. There is a script there 'mv-launchpad' which will extract and update the different langs after you download and copy over the launchpad-exports for MO and PO formats.
The idea of the repo is to maintain up-to-date translations of habari, and tag translations for the different habari versions. There is also a /dist folder for each lang; this dir is for translating static files, such as the included user manual (/doc), lisence and notice files, etc.. The root 'Templates' dir contains the POT template and should be tagged as habari versions are released. Also note, that you SHOULD NOT update the .po or .mo files directly to the repo, but instead upload them to launchpad, or just use launchpad.
