I just dropped the first of a few ACL commits. If you're running svn HEAD on a live site and regularly update your install, you might want to wait until after they're all done.
Currently, upgrading to r2991 will at least hide all of your content from users who are not logged in. This is because no permissions are currently assigned during the database upgrade for the anonymous user. I expect that this will be fixed over the weekend.
