Whether or not the WOFF change helps, this doesn't surprise me. IE, of course, supports Windows' anti-aliasing best. None of the results are a shock... That said, the change CJD already pushed (that's not deployed yet) should take care of most of the pippyness. Just don't expect it to look as smooth and attractive as it does on the Mac...
