Greetings, all,

I have just added three new developers to hackystat-dev-l, Julie Ann Sakuda
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Austen Ito <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, and Jianshi (James) Wang
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. They are UH undergrads who have been working on a
client-side GUI
installer for Hackystat this semester, and will be continuing work on it during
the
summer as part of the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates program.

Up until now, the installer has been kept quite separate from the hackystat
project, but
over the summer I intend to integrate it in as it reaches functional status.
As a first
step, I've added Julie, Austen, and James to this mailing list so that they can
start to
learn more about Hackystat development. I've also created accounts for them in
the
Hackystat Jira issue tracking system, and created a new project called
HackyInstaller to
which bugs in their system can be posted. Later, we will define a new
hackystat module
(hackyInstaller) and integrate it directly into the build process, at which
point bugs
will be posted against the Hackystat project and we can retire the
hackyInstaller project
from Jira.

Cheers,
Philip
