Hi,

The new issue reducer is now deployed, you can find the result on csdl telemetry wall. But Mike and I found that the issue number is underreported. There are a couple of reasons:

1. All issue data are sent with workspace prefix "C:/jira/", so everybody having a csdl jira account should set this as their workspace root in Hackystat. Mike sent out the email request month ago, but it seems that most people in CSDL has not done so (including Mike and me).

2. When creating a issue in jira, you can put anything in workspace field. This field MUST corresponds to one or more of the workspaces in Hackystat-7 project (besides, it's case sensitive.) My recent finding is that Mike has 2 open 7.3 issue, one has non-existent workspace name, the other has the wrong case.

I start to believe it's a hassle to manually make sure the correctness of issue workspace field.

3. There is bug in Hackystat workspace root configuration. It appears that DailyProjectIssue instances are not invalidated when you modify your workspace root. As a result, after everyone in csdl adds "C:/jira" in their workspace root, we need to restart our server to invalidate the cache objects. I record this as a bug for Hongbing.

Cheers,

Cedric
