OK, folks, after yet another day of epic hacking, I think I've got all the docbook ducks 
in a row.

The 7.3 open issue list has hit zero.
Please stabilize everything you can before tonight's build.

Let's cross our fingers, hope the build passes tonight, and with luck, tomorrow 
we can:

* install 7.3.317 on the public server first thing in the morning
* take it out for a spin during the day
* announce it as the stable release in the afternoon
