Now that my best machine for Java development is a Macintosh, I'm suddenly interested in things like enabling HackyInstaller to be in my Dock. I did a little googling and found an Ant extension that appears to make it pretty painless:

If anyone with a Mac feels like recreational hacking over the holidays, this might be a fun project. Note that it would be nice to come up with an icon for hackyInstaller. I've made a Jira issue (no release version and no assigned developer) for this at:

<http://hackydev.ics.hawaii.edu:8080/browse/HACK-841>

So if you do get interested you can use this issue to track your progress.

Cheers,
Philip
