Yes we should. This patch (test-and-build-unchecked.patch) modifies the build
to show unchecked warnings, except in generated classes and JSPs. It also fixes
warnings in the test classes that I seem to have missed. I believe that with
this patch we can close this issue, since I've created another issue to deal
with fixing unchecked warnings in the contrib code (HADOOP-1287).
