Another relevant statistic is the average number of calls per connection. The
client closes connections that have been idle for more than a second. We also
try to design our protocols so that common operations (like opening a file)
should only require a single RPC. But in practice, applications may end up
making more. I wonder if we should add RPC and connection counters for each
protocol?
