Here's a new version. We don't need to link to the containing document
everytime we use the term "Configuration". Nor should we over-use italics and
bold: italics should primarily be reserved for the introduction of new terms.
I also re-worked many of the sentences.
We still badly need a configuration guide in forrest. Perhaps this can be
drafted first on the wiki? Who will write this?
