This should probably be directed to the NutchWax or Nutch mailing lists. What version of Hadoop are you using. AFAIK NutchWax needs Hadoop 0.12. If you are trying to import arc files into Nutch there is also a new patch with an Arc to segments converter tool that directly creates Nutch segments.
