Hi devs, with the 0.5.0-incubating RC1 on vote I'd kindly ask you to please have a look at the recent thread on general@ [1] about binary dependencies inside the source packages of releases, this is because we all should be aware of what should and shouldn't included in our artifacts. If you're not able to cope with the long flame that came out the final word is just that we (ASF projects) should not include binaries in a source release. So I think we should cut a new RC (and do it like that from now on) where we separate the source, binaries and libs/dependencies packages (see [2] for an example, ManifoldCF podling). That shouldn't be that hard using Maven, if needed I can help. Cheers, Tommaso
