I tried mine:

    %script{:src => "http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js";, :type
=> "text/javascript"}
    %script{:type => "text/javascript"}
      _uacct = "UA-1234567-1";
      urchinTracker();

Converts to

<script src='http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js'
type='text/javascript'></script>
    <script type='text/javascript'>
      _uacct = "UA-438638-1";
      urchinTracker();
    </script>
