Therehave been at times translators that show command in one
flavour of Unix and what you would type in another. I've even seen
them for Linux systems.

What always amazes me is how bad then tend to be. You see one
command for one OS and then the equivalent for another and it's
rubbish.

We should should have table on our Wiki with the equivalents,
written by people who use system X rather than by people who don't
use X.

E.g.

Find a package
automatically install a package
install a local package
remove a package
re-install a packages
identify what pakcage

Do not assume the other fellow has intelligence to match yours.
He may have more.
