Hi, guys can anyone shed any light on this, i am a total linux newby,
i am trying to install Fedora 17 under virtual box, i am selecting the
install to hard drive option, the installer appears to be installing
to the the hard drive, telling me its installing. But boots as a non
persistant live version with a big splash screen inviting me to make
an ass of myself for the fifth time 'install to hard drive' it
says.Well yes please install to hard drive!

I have managed to sucsessfuly install several versions of ubuntu,
slackware and kubuntu. On the virtual box.

I am determinded to learn Linux now after failing to apply myself in
the past, but its stuff like this, that gets the drive formatted and
the distro put away for another seven years.
