I found the only way to reliabily set ips is to use nmtui which does
all the deeper work for you...
1. Make sure NetworkManager is running:
We need clarification on whether the Pi is even accessible when booted
(maybe has no screen, no keyboard, etc.)
Any updates RM?
I went with the assumption that the Pi boot media needed config before
booting the Pi, but if that's not the case, yours is probably better.
Also, there's `nmcli` which has nice tab completion. But I'd expect
`nmtui` to be more intuitive?
Thanks
