FYI, 73 wb TAIWAN According to Mr.Sapun Pak of Korean Shortwave Club, Korean staff of Radio Taiwan International was noticed the sudden closure of Korean sce on January 13. RTI will cease 3 foreign langs sces including Korean, and 2 Chinese dialects sces on January 31.
Mr.Pak and RTI Korean staff are seeking support from Japanese and other RTI listeners to continue the Korean sce. One method is to write a message on guestbook of RTI HP <http://www.rti.org.tw/korean> Korean sce of RTI was started on August 15, 1961, once stopped from 1994, restarted on March 1, 1999. The Korean staff says QSL cards and souvenirs which have not been mailed yet will continue to be mailed even after the closure.
