Hi.

I was inspired to start listening to foreign stations back in the mid-1990s
after I accidentally picked up YLE Radio Finland in English one evening on
MW963khz. They closed that broadcast with the words:

"You are listening to YLE Radio Finland, the international service of the
Finnish broadcasting company YLE. Thank you for joining us today. For listeners
in Northern Europe we are now available on 558 & 963khz MW...."

In the background of that announcement was some nice music which I used to tune
in every night to hear after the broadcast. However, reception got less easy
and with my analogue tuner the tuning was not very easy. Eventually I replaced
my radio with one which had a digital tuning dial but by that time YLE Radio
Finland had quit using that music.

Does anyone remember that music? If so, do you know what it was and wether it
was from a commercial recording?

Cheers.
