Las autoridades israel?es han cerrado los transmisores de la emisora de
radio BBC en la ciudad cisjordana de Hebr?n, alegando que causaban
interferencias en las comunicaciones del servicio de aviaci?n israel?,
seg?n inform? hoy el diario local The Jerusalem Post.
La decisi?n se aplic? este mi?rcoles, conforme a las ?rdenes del
Ministerio israel? de Comunicaciones, que considera que los transmisores
dificultan el contacto entre la torre de control del aeropuerto de
Ben-Gurion y los aviones de pasajeros, de acuerdo con la informaci?n de
dicho diario local.
La emisora estaba transmitiendo sus programas en la longitud de onda
asignada por la Autoridad Nacional Palestina, sin haberse coordinado antes
con el Ministerio israel? de Comunicaciones, afirm? un funcionario
gubernamental citado por el rotativo.
Entretando, tambi?n se han cerrado cierto n?mero de transmisores
pertenecientes a otras emisoras de radio, incluidos algunos dentro de
Israel, dado que "ponen en peligro la aviaci?n civil, un problema que
llevamos sufriendo desde hace bastante tiempo", indic? el funcionario,
a?adiendo que "ahora estamos tratando de resolver el problema".
La BBC ha confirmado el cierre de sus transmisores mediante un

Bolivia, 6080.47, Radio San Gabriel, 0945-1015 With continous mixing with
HCJB,
noted San Gabriel with plenty of canned promos and ID's. Even so, very
difficult to
pin them down because of fading in and out with the stronger HCJB. The
signal
from Gabriel was poor to threshold. The frequency of 6080.47 is not the
exact
freq that Gabriel is using, but it is the best heard frequency. Gabriel is
actually on
6080 KHz and with the mixing of HCJB, tuning up slightly gives better
results.
