** BANGLADESH. 15505, March 19 at 1359, humless open carrier with flutter past
1400; finally at 1400:45 cuts on hum and simultaneously the BB Urdu service
already in progress, 1401:45 ID and news. 1430 modulation and hum stop, carrier
off a few sex later (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 5040, March 19 at 0540, RHC is in English this hour today, unlike
Spanish yesterday, also // 4 x 49m channels. Per new hedule, the nominal
English times on 5040 are now 23-24 and 05-06 only (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** JAPAN [non]. 11740, March 19 at 0528 check just in time to reconfirm that
doomed NHK English to NAm at 0500 via doomed GUIANA FRENCH is still funxional
today (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 730, March 19 at 0547 UT, XE choral NA playing at odd time on weak
signal under Spanish talker, latter presumed XEX. That narrows it down to one
of the octet of other Mexican 730s (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. 104.7, KEIF-LP Enid has had its license canceled! Tnx to
FCC-watcher Benn Kobb who forwarded this notice dated March 18:

ENID PUBLIC RADIO ASSOCIATION. Rescinded the conditional renewal of Enid Public
Radio Association's license for low-power FM station KEIF-LP, for failure to
satisfy conditions of its 2010 limited renewal or timely file renewal
application. Action by: Chief, Audio Division, Media Bureau by LETTER. (DA No.
13-453). MB http://hraunfoss.fcc.gov/edocs_public/attachmatch/DA-13-453A1.docx

It was never a ``public radio`` station in the usual sense. ``The Rocket`` has
been in trouble for years, and the FCC finally stomped them for: running
advertising, and antenna too high per LP regs, which brought a complaint two+
years ago from legit Enid commercial broadcaster Chisholm Trail Broadcasting
(KNID, KXLS, KCRC, etc.).

Since antenna is atop the Broadway Tower building in downtown Enid, it`s not
feasible to lower it without chopping off the top few stories of the building.
Thus a complete change of site would be required.

So I immediately tuned in 104.7, and it`s still on the air March 18 at 1800 UT.
Recorded several hours as a collector`s item. I rarely listen to it otherwise,
but some of the tunes like ``Dust in the Wind`` by Kansas, and ``I Fought the
Law and I Won`` seem to allude to its predicament.

Altho immediately online, the FCC notice goes to KEIF by certified mail, return
receipt requested, so KEIF may pretend not to be notified for a few days until
the hard copy arrive, and it`s still on the air March 19 past 1630 UT.
Contacted one of their DJs who thought the matter was still in ``mediation``;
he`s apparently in denial, or in the dark.

Judging from history of illegal parameters from its founding, refusal to
coƶperate, pay fines, or even respond to the FCC, I won`t be surprised if it
tries to stay on the air as a pirate, altho online-only would be the way to go.
The mastermind behind it is Scott Clark, who has vowed it will never go off the
air.

Wikipedia is right up to date with the latest developments:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KEIF-LP
but not stating explicitly that it is still on the air.

However, the website it linx to, http://www.enidradio.org/
is ``not yet configured``. And the Listen Live doesn`t work either:
http://76.215.189.134:8006/
Another infraxion might be failing to legally ID as KEIF; at least all I ever
hear even around hourtops is ``The Rocket`` (Glenn Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** TUNISIA. 7275, March 19 at 0539, IWT still missing from morning broadcast.
It`s about time to suspend these non-logs, hoping for a revival which will then
be newsworthy. Sad, as this and 7335 from 0600 had been a favorite source for
our slumber serenading (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1490, March 19 at 0600 UT, barely above the pileup heard phone
1-800-438-1430 mentioned. This allows me to rail against the reverse-lookup
sites, which when searching on this keep bringing up nearby numbers, and/or
require payment for the answer. Searching on an unique phone number ought to
lead directly to the owner without all this hassle (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 9425.4, March 19 at 0535, the mystery open carrier heard earlier
in the daytime is still here, lite fades so not local, hetting 9420 Greece. But
not heard around 1330 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 15553-SSB, March 19 at 1329, 2-way in colloquial Spanish, one
much stronger with background noise, the other coughing. Tuning by, this caught
my attention as WJHR USB 15550 does not start until 1400, regardless of DST
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
