** CHAD. 6165, Oct 24 at 0051, again no signal from RNT even tho Habana is not
yet on to block it (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** INDIA. 11985, Oct 24 at 0053, yet another anomaly from All India Radio,
Delhi-Khampur site, which is supposed to be amid the 0045-0115 Sinhala service
like // 11740 via Goa, and sometimes really is. But now on 11985, fair with
flutter, is an interval signal I have never heard before and nothing like the
usual one from AIR. It`s 36 or 37 notes on a piano, mostly in higher register,
repeating over and over between very brief pauses. Also with hum. Meanwhile
11740 is totally separate with talk in presumed Sinhala. 11985 IS keeps going
past 0100 which of course is not hourtop in out-of-step India, except it morphs
into that out-of-whack webfeed or skipping-tape sound I have heard before.
Traces of the same melody can be heard within it. 0102 it`s improved, still
breaking up; 0107 better with less breakup. 0108.5 stops suddenly leaving just
some hum on open carrier and for the next minute or so till I quit. Wish I had
a recorder handy for this possibly
unique IS transmission (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6935-AM, Oct 24 at 0055, very poor signal conveying music
with a heavy beat; only pirate on the band now. 0104 recheck it`s much better
at poor-fair level, still heavy beat; 0106 announcement says ``check us out
online at liquidradioonline.com`` and more music.

Later, I do, and find that forwards to unrestricted
https://www.facebook.com/LiquidRadio
including these items:

Oct 4: ``To shortwave DXers whom have heard our international signal: Contrary
to claims by certain individuls, yes the signal you were hearing is only 10
watts carrier power and around 40 watts peak. Those who claim 10 watts can not
be heard, are the ones not doing it right.``

Oct 12: ``Work on the broadcast antenna has been completed, and it's perfectly
matched! (1:1 VSWR) We're in the process of finishing up work on the masting,
and hope to be back at full power sometime this month. Until then we're still
on at low power.``

Oct 14: ``So this is the state of Liquid Radio at the moment. As many of you
know, the website URL leads to this page, as site hosting was becoming too
expensive. This of course makes the link for our Saturday night simulcasts hard
to find. This is only temporary, as there is a search going on for a cheaper
space provider. The FM signal is still in the process of improvement. The
antenna and masting work are complete, but there is still improvements to be
done with the transmitter. Unfortunately doing the job right, takes time.
Eventually there will be a website and the FM signal will be functioning at
full power again.``

Mentioned elsewhere several times is 97.7 as the FM frequency --- that should
make Liquid`s location pretty obvious to anyone who can hear it (Glenn Hauser,
OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** PERU. 5980, Oct 24 at 0050, BA carrier with some talk modulation from R.
Chaski, which was inaudible, maybe off early, last night. Now I track it until
cutoff at 0101:58.5*. As it ws not checked on Oct 21 or 22, the latest to
compare with is 4 days ago on Oct 20 when it went off at 0101:34*. Now it`s
24.5 seconds later divided by 4 = 6.125 seconds later per day, which is more
than the usual 5.25 per. Maybe it got out of sequence by missing Oct 23 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5830, Oct 24 at 0049 check, WTWW-1 is back on the air after missing
earlier today and last night (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 4780, Oct 24 at 0047-0109, no sign of the Qur`an station heard 24
hours earlier, maybe Djibouti. A weak carrier on 4782-, however, no doubt
Ecuador, which was not even hetting the 4780 last night (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 12758.5-LSB, Oct 24 at 0052, colloquial Spanish 2-way, good
signal as I am checking for AFN Diego Garcia on 12759-USB. First time I have
run into this in the way (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
