Dear Australian Radio Guide user This note is to let you know that, as part of our efforts to keep this service meaningful for all users, you need to be aware: * the Digital DAB+ Radio details have been completely revised and updated for Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin and will be progressively implemented over the coming days * Stations such as Novanation, Radar Radio, ABC Dig and many others are no longer operating on DAB+ * New stations including Coles Radio, Fairfax NTS, Edge Digital, Double J and Triple M Classic Rock Digital are now available * These changes reflect the maturing of DAB+ in Australia, which increasingly sees the same station brands being rolled out nationwide, while the temporary services in Canberra and Darwin continue * In most cases, you can access internet streaming of DAB+ stations worldwide simply by clicking on the link to the station website or audio streaming service embedded in the Australian Radio Guide * As well as enjoying digital DAB+ radio from Australia, you also have access to thousands of Australian AM and FM stations and their websites and audio streaming through the Australian Radio Guide * As part of our larger radio heritage project, you can also enjoy hundreds of stories about radio broadcasting from around Australia, the Pacific and the world, look at radio in Australia some 80 years ago, see the Australian stations broadcasting in 1988, and much more This service continues to be free of charge for the community as part of our global radio heritage project. This is a crowd funded project with no government or radio industry grants, and if you'd like to support it for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a week, you'll be very welcome. Simply make your donation at www.radioheritage.net and we'll send you an acknowledgement and add you to our supporter Roll of Honor. In the meantime, enjoy the Australian Radio Guide, tell your friends and workmates about us, and look out for the digital DAB+ radio updates as they come on line in the coming days. Enjoy the rest of your week Cheers from the Australian Radio Guide volunteer team Radio Heritage Foundation www.radioheritage.net Email DX to be removed from this mailing list and allow 15 working days for a volunteer to manually find and remove your address.
