** BANGLADESH. 15505, Aug 30 at 1359, JBA carrier, offtimesignal ending at
1359:57.5, Bangladesh Betar opening Urdu (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** BRAZIL. 11780.08, Aug 31 at 0118, RNA with VG signal at S9+25, and guess
what, no spurs audible; but the fundamental is off-frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 11840, Aug 31 at 0116, RHC is S9 but open carrier/dead air, while
11760 at S9+25 and 11670 at S9+30 are fully modulating; 0137 recheck, 11840
still OC/DA, during `En Contacto` DX program UT Mondays (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** EGYPT. 9965.2, Aug 31 at 0109, R. Cairo Arabic, fair signal but open
carrier/dead air.

9315.0, Aug 31 at 0109, R. Cairo Spanish, suptorted, undermodulated, hum

11935.0, Aug 31 at 0110, R. Cairo, JBA carrier as S1

12070, Aug 31 at 0110, R. Cairo, S3, open carrier/dead air
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6950-AM, UT Monday Aug 31 at 0049, very poor carrier, could
be 5 x 1390 local KCRC but not //. Suspect it`s relay of CKUT`s International
Radio Report as heard last Sunday night; maybe a regular schedule pirate
service? Yes, reports here confirm IRR,
http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,23204.0.html
which aired first around 2200 Aug 30, and again circa 0030 Aug 31.
http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,23208.0.html
So IRR is back on SW; for a while Area 51 on WBCQ was carrying it. Mark Taylor
referred to this as ``Review of International Broadcasting``, a title already
spoken for (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6950-USB, Aug 31 at 0135, rechecking the IRR relay, now
something on USB instead of AM and playing a bit of music, but as soon as I
tune in, switch to CW and then SSTV, more like 6950.5? It`s Amphetamine Radio,
matching details here:
http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,23211.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** PERU. 5980, Aug 31 at 0055, JBA carrier from R. Chaski (5990 CRI/Cuba is
already off), until cutoff at 0106:55* which is 5.5 seconds later than last
night (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SRI LANKA. 11905, Aug 31 at *0114:10 carrier on with flutter, S1; music
pr?lude starts at 0114:46.5; 2+1 timesignal ends at at 0115:19.5, SLBC opening
Hindi(?) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7267.5-LSB, Aug 31 at 0130, looking for Hurricane Watch Network, but
some other net just interested in making quick contacts, exchanging signal
reports, including: KB4TBF, KM4MUR, N2XTT, N5UZQ, WD4T. Apparently Erika is no
longer such a threat to FL? Nothing heard earlier on 14325-USB either (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1788 monitoring: confirmed Sunday August 30 at 2300 on
WRMI 11580; sufficient. Also confirmed from 0322 UT Monday August 31 on WBCQ
5109.7-CUSB Area 51; and 0330 Monday on WRMI 9955. Both checked first on
webcast, then confirmed after 0330 on SW. Next:
1100 UT Tuesday WRMI 9955
0630 UT Wednesday HLR 7265-CUSB
1315 UT Wednesday WRMI 9955
1430 UT Wednesday HLR 7265-CUSB
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5109.7-USB, Aug 31 at 0057, Area 51 via WBCQ, Johnny Lightning,
something about clitoral stimulation and Niagra; RNI jingle, discussing Trump;
S9+15-20, and back on the SSB transmitter unlike last night when AM
on-frequency. On webcast keeps going way past 0300 with politico/religious
comments about #uckabee, et al. Finally his prostate calls upon him to use the
facilities and starts to play tune on his webcast, but WBCQ cuts away to start
WOR 1788 at 0322 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5090.175, Aug 31 at 0101, WTWW-2 is on 5085.0 and putting out
intermittent spur here with same modulation; then another one pinpointed to
5088.7 on the NRD-545 with very fine tuning (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** U S A. 1700, Aug 30 at 0554 UT, Tejano music loops SSE/NNW, no doubt KKLF
Richardson (Dallas) TX, reactivated once again. More of it Aug 31 at 0043 UT
check, atop frequency, altho no ID caught yet. Similar but not // to 1540 KEDA
San Antonio. KKLF may be sporadic (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** VIETNAM [non]. 12005, Aug 31 at 0111, VOV English to North America is back
to VG level, S9 and plenty modulation; seems slightly low about 12004.98. Past
few nights was virtually inaudible, presumably due to propagation disturbance.
Only registered as Woofferton site, but it would make sense to switch to
Ascension under such circumstances if they are going to stay on 12 MHz till
Octend (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1560, Aug 30 at 0553 UT, no dominant YSR or any sports station
looping NE/SW like 24 hours ago (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

This report dispatched at 0345 UT August 31
