Our full data electronic QSL verifications nr. 34 and 35 are enclosed. Many thanks also for your online video clips that were vital in order to verify your reception reports. With a lot of enthusiasm we inform you that your reception report is the first in our history from Bulgaria. CONGRATS!!! We are a small free radio station broadcasting from Italy which, after 15 years of dormancy, returned back to the airwaves on 15th August 2015. Currently we are airing test broadcasts on our historic frequency of 11390 and power is in the region of 30 watts. Although we are not broadcasting regularly, we usually go on air on Saturdays, from 13.00 to 15.00 UTC, and on Sundays, from 09.00 to 13.00 UTC (1 hour earlier when Summer Time). Additional tests may also be aired on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, from 18.00 to 20.00 UTC. Please note that times and days of transmission are liable to change. However a circular message on when our tests are scheduled is regularly sent in advance to shortwave community and listeners in our mailing list. Here is the schedule for the next test broadcasts of Marconi Radio International: 21st November 2015, from 1300 to 1430 UTC 22nd November 2015, from 0900 to 1300 UTC 25th November 2015, from 1800 to 1930 UTC Until now reception reports, found to be correct, have been received from listeners from 13 countries in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland as well as, for the first time in our history, from Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Ukraine. We hope to extend the duration of our broadcasts in the near future and also to increase power. We expect to use a new transmitter and, for the first time in our history, a frequency outside the 11 MHz band very soon. We also plan to send in printed QSL cards by snail-mail but only to some lucky listeners. That?s why it?s vital to provide us with postal address. In the meantime a new eQSL has been designed and its distribution will start as soon as the new transmitter is operational. Unlike a number of free radios from Northern of Europe we know what a QSL is and our verifications will always come with ALL details about reception of MRI. We would be glad to hear from you again. Your sincerelyhttp://swldxbulgaria.blogspot.bg/2015/11/electronic-qsls-from-marconi-radio_21.html -- 73! Tnx to the generosity of Brandon Jordan, TN, I am now employing an Icom IC-R75, which he has modified and refurbished. It`s for now using the ~100 foot E-W longwire formerly into the FRG-7, which remains beside it for backup/dual monitoring using another lesser longwire (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** AUSTRALIA. 9580, Nov 21 at 1400, RA is OFF! Still off at 1526; this happens all too often, while the other two Sheppartons are still audible: 12085 VP, 12065 worse with usual BBCCI at 1400; at 1526 both with rock music (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** BRAZIL. 9722.97, Nov 20 at 2355, R?dio RB2`s downward drift has now surpassed (or rather, subpassed), 9723 with Aparecida mentions, very poor. Based on the rate of drift, one might project when it may reach 9722, 9721, 9720, etc., etc. (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** CUBA. 9535, Nov 21 at 0630, RHC Spanish is still on here, a sesquihour after scheduled closing at 0500*; wake up! Altho several other SS frequencies allegedly last until 0600, none later. 17730, Nov 21 at 1349, RHC is breaking up, and this time it`s not just the modulation but the carrier too as checked with BFO; 100 kW Bauta antenna wires shorting in the breeze? Meanwhile, much weaker and tinnier // 250 kW Tit?n 17750 is constant (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6770-AM, Nov 21 at 0637, oldtimeradio pirate is poor but almost readable in drama, ``the phantom`` mentioned, maybe program by that title? Seems to be on constantly, usually only a JBA carrier here at night. I wonder if this is plugged into webcast of the 1920s Radio Network, http://whro.org/radio/schedule?date=11/21/2015&station=1920s which merely shows generically from 06 to 17 UT, `20s to 40s`. It does include considerable music blox elsewhen (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** SAUDI ARABIA. 21505.12, Nov 21 at 1351, BSKSA with siren SFX during Arabic service, never strong, but only reliable ME l3m signal left after the demise of Radio Kuwait, and now on the IC-R75 I easily measure its offfrequenciness. Scheduled 12-15 only and indeed no more heard after 15; 500 kW, 290 degrees from Riyadh. 13710.08, Nov 21 at 1532, also off-frequency but good signal with Qur`an, probably same BSKSA Riyadh transmitter as 21505.12, as exactly the same parameters registered for this at 15-18 per HFCC (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. 15580, Nov 20 at 2120, VOA playing African music, reminding us that `Music Time in Africa` does air during this hour on Fridays, the ONLY one when Greenville is currently scheduled in English. 2124 outro announcement that the music was from Mali, coincidence? I listen to some more of it later, despite time conflict with World of Radio and World of Radio on WRMI and WRMI, content of which I am already very familiar with. DJ Heather Maxwell, nicknamed ``Max``, at closing gives times as: Friday at 09; Saturday and Sunday at 09, 15, 20 and 22 UT. She`s ignorant of the very broadcast I am hearing, Friday at 21. Bet she is not even an SWL, not turning on a radio to confirm when her own program airs. Program website: http://www.voanews.com/archive/music-time-in-africa/latest/672/1456.html doesn`t give any times and frequencies, but one may listen to latest and previous programs (and I did so to confirm her schedule announcement). No plain old PROGRAM schedule for VOA to be found, but B-15 frequency schedule to Africa for the times above shows these without site specifications either: 09, NO SW or MW 15, 4930 6080 15580 17895 20, 909 1530 4930 6080 15580; 2030+ also 4940 [which is on air only this semihour from S?o Tom?, Hausa weekdays, English weekends] 21, 1530 6080 15580 22, NO SW or MW (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1800 monitoring: confirmed Friday November 20 at 2130.0 on WRMI 15770, following an Andy Sennitt ID; and at 2130.5 on WRMI 7570, following a Rudy Espinal ID at 2129.5 and a semiminute of fill music; why? This time not cut off before finished. Next: Sat 2030v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND? Sun 0415v WA0RCR 1860-AM ND? Mon 0400v WBCQ 5110v-CUSB Area 51 to WSW Mon 0430 WRMI 9955 to SSE Tue 1200 WRMI 9955 to SSE Wed 1415.5 WRMI 9955 to SSE Wed 2200 WBCQ 7490v to WSW (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. 12050, Nov 20 at 2002 on BST-1 caradio, WEWN Spanish with *long* IADs of several seconds interrupting Spanish at very irregular intervals, as a `Misericordia` show is starting with the same ``comforting`` host as overnight in the moonlight. Must make extremely frustrating listening for anyone who axually wants to hear it; still so at 2007 recheck. He originates in Miami so maybe a feed problem into Vandiver (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. 720, Nov 20 at 1857 UT on Nissan caradio in western Enid, at quiet spots between powerlines, traffic signals and plasma TV residences, WGN Chicago is quite audible with IDs, program promos, altho seems to have faded out after 1900 UT. 670 also has CCI, no doubt WSCR Chicago vs usual daytime groundwave remnant of KLTT Denver. So we are into the low-noon midday MW DX season, scarcely a month from Solstice Dec 22; local mean noon here is always 1832 UT. Strange thing is, this affects the lo end of MW band more than hi end, as nothing on 1690 from WVON Chicago; nor anything unusual on other (literally) clear channels in a quick bandscan. However, on 1700 can be heard a JBA SAH, presumably Des Moines and Dallas (Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. 1300, Nov 21 at 1329 UT, program preview of several gospel huxters in English coming up on WNQM Nashville TN, mixing with presumed KAKC Tulsa, as skywave from east hasn`t yet faded out, and 50 kW ND helps (WLW 700 is also louder and clearer). WNQM is on the growing roster of former WORLD OF RADIO affiliates. So their evening relay of WMDB 880 La Ranchera in Spanish is over by now, but does anyone know exactly what the hours for that are? Lotsa luck finding any specific info on the WNQM or WMDB websites. It`s certainly unneeded after sunrise, when 880 regains a decent daytime signal. WNQM programming between 13 and 24 UT might also radiate on 9980 plus and minus 1300, like the #4 SW transmitter does from 7520 at 00-03 weeknites on 6220, 8820. That is, seek it on 8680 and 11280 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** U S A. I am supposed to be a winner on WCLV`s `Weekend Radio` competition *this* week, having submitted a ``funny faux-pas`` from an Enid periodical, e.g. UT Sunday Nov 22 at 03-04 UT on WCLV Cleveland webcast, 04-05 UT on KUCO Edmond OK webcast, and on many public radio stations (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1800, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** VATICAN. 15770-15780, Nov 21 at 1537, DRM noise is QRMing 15770 WRMI, but it`s only BS celebrating Sabbath, couldn`t happen to a more useless victim. Can`t even escape it by employing LSB, belying the alleged ``10 kHz`` nominal bandwidth the DRM Consortium would have us believe, and further proof that DRM should NEVER have been allowed within the AM SWBC bands. Fixed bands are sparsely populated with other digital signals already. Scheduled as Vatican Radio, 1530-1600, 125 kW due east in English for South Asia, but as we well know, Santa Maria di Galeria radiates remarkably in many other direxions than the boresight, which can be a blessing or a curse, depending (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) ** YEMEN [and non]. Yemeni President Hadi, who was ousted from Sana`a last year by the Houthi rebels and later fled to Saudi Arabia, is said to have set up a clandestine station called "Radio Sana`a", transmitting on 11860. Hadi has returned to Aden, but I would assume that his radio station is based in Saudi Arabia (Chris Greenway, BBCM, Nov 20, dxldyg via DX LISTENING DIGEST) DXLD monitors quickly checked 11860 Nov 20: Tarek Zeidan in Cairo was hearing it at 1930-2000+; Ivo Ivanov in Sofia at 19-21+; Bruce in NY with a remote receiver at 2145 ID. The reported schedule is, presumably UT, 18-23 and 04-09. Noel Green points out that 11860 is unregistered after the 1730-1800 AWR Kabyle via Nauen broadcast, but IBB KUWAIT in Pashto and Dari is on 11860 at 1430-1630. Anyhow, I check 11860 Nov 21 at 1522, immediately hearing USB 2-way intruder, probably Spanish, but then off, leaving a very weak AM signal with ME? music, no doubt Kuwait. Back to 11860 later! (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) UNIDENTIFIED. 15740, Nov 20 at 1832, fair signal open carrier/dead air. Nothing scheduled, but smax of a Greenville-B test, which is scheduled to take 15730 over from Vatican one hour later, since warming up there now would QRM it (Glenn Hauser, OK DX LISTENING DIGEST) This report dispatched at 1826 UT November 22 ------------------------------ Message: 7 Date: Sat, 21 Nov 2015 21:01:23 +0100 From: Manuel M?ndez <manuelmend...@gmail.com> To: "DX Listenig Digest" <d...@yahoogroups.com> Subject: [HCDX] RGI winterschedule Message-ID: <9e4e2450-f0b1-4b87-8581-513208994...@getmailbird.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Manuel M?ndez From: Andy nn <r...@hotmail.de> Date: 21/11/2015 10:58:02 Subject: Re: RGI winterschedule To: radioglo...@aol.com <radioglo...@aol.com> RADIO?
