Hi Daniel,

have you ever tried to listen bc-stations by using

SSB (USB or LSB)? This method often gives more

readable audio and sometimes helps reducing

interference. Of course it needs a steady hand/ear

to tune to exact frequency and much also depends on receiver used.

When scanning the bands with SSB you can easily notice a carrier

which one may pass unnoticed with AM mode. I dont't know

how good Tecsun 2000 is with SSB but it's worth trying.

Me personally always use SSB when trying to catch DX-stations.
